Sensible Defaults for Re-Notifications

Following the recent Cost Anomaly Re-Notifications release, we are enabling re-notifications for all active Cost Anomaly notification configurations across group channels (Slack, MS Teams, email).

The default re-trigger criteria are:

• 100% increase AND
• $150 increase AND
• Within 24 hours since the last notification

Based on historical data, we estimate this will trigger re-notifications for about 5% of detected anomalies. Existing re-trigger configurations, where already set, remain unchanged. Individual notification configs for DCI user profiles are not affected.

While we are working on improvements that will allow our customers to manage settings with less friction directly, our supporting teams are available to help in tailoring this configuration for specific contexts. Consult our public docs for more details.

We hope this change will help our customers avoid runaway cost increases with severe outcomes.
