Simplifying Cost Tracking: New SKUs Detected Notifications

Get notified when new SKUs appear in your billing data, helping you catch unexpected costs early and stay in control of your cloud spend.
Cloud billing can get complex, and unexpected costs can catch you off guard. Now, you can be notified whenever a new SKU appears in your billing data—helping you stay informed, avoid surprises, and take control of your cloud spend.
What does this mean for you?
This new notification type enables you to:
- Stay ahead of changes: Get alerts for new SKUs that could impact costs.
- Flexible delivery: You can choose how to receive alerts—via Slack, Email, Microsoft Teams, or directly in the app.
How it works?
- A new SKU is defined as one that has not appeared in your billing data for at least three months.
- Subscribers can configure how and where to receive these alerts.
You can manage or unsubscribe from this notification anytime in the Governance section under Notification Settings in the Notification Center.
